Me and my husband grow our own veggies, we use rain water and compost pile that we made out of left over veggies and anything organic. My husband recycles pretty much everything and sometimes pick some stuff from our neighbors so it wouldn't go to land field.

One of the missions this month is to recycle something. We are recycling all of our glass, plastic, newspaper and aluminum. Wish they would pick it up at the curb, but they won't so we will be taking a trip to the local recycling place with all our goodies. It's so easy--do your part! Don't just throw recyclable stuff away in the trash to fill the landfills. We need trees since we've lost many thousands to last year's drought.

My husband and I recycle all paper, plastic, aluminum, and glass around the house. We've gotten our 4-yr. old and 2-yr. old in on the fun, as well. They enjoy getting the item and throwing it in the correct recycling bin in the garage.
