Give New Books to Children Battling Serious Illnesses
I just went through our garage to make sure all the recycling was getting out. I was amazed to find 48 folded paper grocery bags, 9 flatened cardboard boxes (from delivered things) and 27 plastic bags! The garage looks neater but still needs some old toys etc. to be donated. Planning on that next week.

I went around our garage to make sure all recycling was getting out and I wound up finding a total of 76 folded paper bags here and there, 8 cardboard boxes (that had something shipped to us in) and 42 waded up plastic bags as well. In Denver last August I had the pleasure of joining the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to provided Homeless kids with free health screen and school supplies. These children were so happy and excited to pick out their new book bags filled with supplies. A lot of the boys left with super hero bags while the girls looked pretty with their pink/colorful ones.
