Meet the KIND Fruit + Nut bar, 10 varieties of gluten-free, cholesterol-free, and (all but three) dairy-free hand-made fruit and nut bars. The bars are a product of PeaceWorks (a “not-only-for-profit company”); 5 percent of profits go to OneVoice, “a PeaceWorks Foundation initiative that fosters moderate consensus in the Middle East.” KIND bars are available at most area co-ops and natural-foods stores.

Oh, OK: The 10 varieties are Nut Delight, Fruit & Nut Delight, Almond & Apricot, Macadamia & Apricot, Almond & Coconut, Walnut & Date, Banana Oat Bran, Almonds & Apricots in Yogurt, Fruits & Nuts in Yogurt, and Sesame & Peanuts with Chocolate. (Mr. Tidbit hopes you’re happy now.)
