Nutrition expert, Carol Lapin, joined FOX Houston to discuss healthy ways to avoid packing on the ‘freshman 15′ at every age. Carol recommended navigating the healthy snacking challenges of a busy schedule by always having a bag packed with convenient snacks that are tasty and good for you too. Carol’s top picks included both KIND bars for their great source of fiber and protein, as well as KIND Healthy Grains, which she said provide a lower sugar alternative to a typical granola. Carol likes her KIND Healthy Grains over yogurt, added to trail mix, sprinkled on top of oatmeal and even as a standalone snack on-the-go!
