The Diet P.I. Special KIND Investigation: Gloria Tsang, Founder of HealthCastle.com

For our newest edition of The Diet P.I. Special Investigation, our faithful diet detective, Heather K. Jones, R.D., is going behind the scenes with Gloria Tsang, the founder of HealthCastle.com, a website with “Nutrition Advice Exclusively from Registered Dietitians,” to find out what healthy and tasty means to her – and to learn some more about just how important it is to be KIND!

 Q. How does HealthCastle encourage people to be KIND to their bodies, their taste buds, & the world?

At HealthCastle.com, we always encourage our readers to make health and wellness a top priority. Just like choosing the right gasoline to fuel a car, we always advocate that our readers be mindful of what they eat by fueling their bodies with natural, healthy foods.

Q. Do you have a favorite KIND bar flavor?

I love bars with some tangy punch, so I love Cranberry Almond + Antioxidants.  And who doesn’t like chocolate?  Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew + Antioxidants is another personal favorite.

Q.  When was your last KIND snack emergency?

I always plan ahead on work days when I know will have erratic work hours (like when I am working on a tradeshow floor!) and pack handy snacks like KIND bars in my purse for days that don’t allow me to sit down and eat.

Q.  Who inspires you to be KIND to your body and the world?

My grandmother!  She was a Buddhist and only ate plant-based products.  Her motto was always “eat things that are fresh and natural”.

Q.  Why should HealthCastle readers join the KIND Movement?

Kindness is contagious! Bringing a smile to someone’s face is priceless.  And that’s a good lesson to teach our young ones too!

Q.  How does your book, Go UnDiet, encourage KINDNESS?

My book, Go UnDiet, carries the same philosophy I’ve advocated on HealthCastle.com: eat natural, healthy foods that are good for our body and for the environment.  For example, take the time to find out where and how your produce was grown and to learn about where your meat came from.

Join us soon on the KIND Blog for our next investigation from Heather K. Jones, The Diet P.I.!
