"Good for the body, good for the taste buds, good for the world" - that's quite a sales pitch. KIND Fruit + Nut bars are packed with whole nuts, but it's the fruit flavors that dominate these all-natural treats. The bars come in ten flavors: Nut Delight, Fruit & Nut Delight, Almond & Apricot, Macadamia & Apricot, Almonds & Apricots in Yogurt, Banana & Oatbran, Fruit & Nuts in Yogurt, Almond & Coconut, Sesame & Peanuts and Walnut & Date.
What makes these "kind" is that 5 percent of the bars' profits go to the PeaceWorks foundation, which works with regions in conflict to create specialty food products. PeaceWorks currently has ventures with Israelis, Palestinians, Egyptians, South Africans, Turks, Indonesians and Sri Lankans to make energy bars, noddles and sauces and pestos and tapenades.
