The Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond bar is what dreams are made of. Seriously, dark chocolate and caffeine surrounded by nutty, goodness? Thank you for being so KIND.
I am diabetic and I eat one of these when I have low blood sugar. They taste good and they have just the right amount of carbs so they are slightly healthier than others and don't taste like hay as some do. My endocrinologist has approved them for me. My favorite grocer has a wide variety of flavors but they can't seem to get this one, my favorite, so l am ordering them here. Try them; you will like them!
I like the idea of ingredients we can pronounce, however, "natural flavors" leads me to wonder what are these that they cannot be specified? Animal products, or ....
Kind says they are "transparent" -- perhaps that would include a clarification of "natural."
I already reached out to the kindbar company a month or so ago when I recently finally tried a random kind bar given to me at my gym (Equinox). It was a dark chocolate peanut bar. It was good, and I don't want to contradict myself, cause the three that I love most, at least one contains peanuts I think (the pumpkin spice caramel? That is my second or matched with this one, third is the dark chocolate coconut almond). But this isn't about the original trial bar. I've known about kind for years. I'm not a health nut, in my letter I described my health was in a weak condition and continues, and am only 30 years old. I'm underweight, I love to eat, but have gotten scrutinized for my appearance for several years being called anorexic, having an eating disorder, sickly, and worse. In my letter to kind I addressed even more personal issues, but the fact of the matter is, I love food. I was raised going to 5 star restaurants and have always been a picky eater (my mom used to serve me chocolate chip ice cream before high school if she didn't have a chocolate muffin for me). I got more health conscious after college, joined a gym at 21, enjoyed working out and of course, eating my calories! And then some. Many guys assume I'm a cheap date due to my skinny frame. I don't drink, except on rare occasions. Otherwise it's tea or bottled water. I love an amazing burger and fries, but in moderation! Due to my health, my low tolerance for the foods I used to enjoy and no longer can't finish after a few bites, these kind bars have been life savers. I try and avoid these past 7 or 8 pm, due to the mocha, but if I'm tired enough it doesn't matter. They are so delicious. Due to my very low impact activity level right now, i seriously depend on these bars, as much as I'm trying to regain strength and work out and eat other foods, I am suffering from some illness unknown and these and the other two mentioned have been so tasty, and healthy, and I do eat a few as meal replacements to avoid possible future weight loss, which I can't help. Thank you kind! I am so happy these exist and anyone that loves mocha and dark chocolate and not artificial ingredients, will love these, also love that they aren't so sweet, as my taste buds can't handle anything too sweet or too salty! Highly recommend for anyone, skinny, healthy, overweight, etc. they are my go to. And really, keeping me alive!
WOW! This dark mocha almond bar is fantastic!
I was having a hard time finding it locally,
so I opted to purchase a 72 count box on line. I certainly do not want to run out of this perfect creation.
I had bought one at my local grocer. I fell in love with this bar. The dark chocolate and the nuts were the perfect combination. I see this as my new candy bar, but HEALTHY! YAY!!!!!!!
