On KIND Tuesday, March 1, more than 250 KINDAHOLICS across the country gave a candle to someone in their community who brightens the lives of children (a teacher, a parent, a daycare provider, a baby sitter or someone who brings happiness to kids).
I work with a woman who volunteers at a food pantry on her days off. She deserves so much more than a candle but that's where we'll start today!
Because of our KINDAHOLICS’ kindness, we (the KIND team) partnered with The Art of Elysium to host a creative arts workshop for boys and girls battling serious illnesses at a children’s hospital.

We walked away uplifted by the experience of watching kids who carry the weight of serious illness simply get to be kids for an afternoon. And in every personal exchange, we were reminded of the fact that our KINDAHOLICS’ kindness allowed these children to trade in their pain for smiles and laughter.
