Support Flying Kites Classrooms

What is your cause and how will it make the world kinder?

Flying Kites, a Boston-based 501c3 nonprofit organization, is igniting the potential of critically-poor children in Kenya. Our work stands apart, and our impact is profound, due to the deep and long-term investment we make in the lives of young people.

In order to grow the size of our school and increase our ability to provide our students with a competitive education so that they may build their best lives and positively impact their families, communities and country, we need to grow the size of our campus. $10,000 would provide us with the funds to increase the size of our school and achieve these goals.

How will you use the $10k?

Specifically, we will use the $10,000 to add to our existing campus in Njabini and fill our new classrooms with desks, chairs, white boards, and all the school supplies necessary for providing an exceptional education to our students.

What impact do you hope to make?

Our overall mission is to provide students with a high-quality education, which we believe is vital to alleviating suffering, increasing gender equality and promoting economic sustainability. Supporting Flying Kites' classrooms would provide us with the tools necessary to do this.

Other Details

The plans for our new classrooms are complete. If Flying Kites receives the $10,000 support from Kind Causes, we would be committed to purchasing the classroom materials and school supplies within the next sixth months as the classrooms are being completed.

Every month, KIND supports one cause with $10,000
