do the KIND thing at the Bicycle Film Festival 2013
By KIND Editor
Since the first bike share launched in the United States in 2008, over 30 cities have adopted municipal programs and more are rolling out across the country every month. Here at KIND HQ’s hometown of New York City, the Citibike program launched recently with over 36,000 members and over 170,000 trips in its first two weeks!
We believe in doing the KIND thing for our bodies, taste buds and the world. That’s why we’re proud presenting partners of the 13th annual Bicycle Film Festival. Since 2001, the BFF has been an advocate for urban cycling and bike culture through music, art and film, taking their message of health and community around the world. This year, the festival launches in New York City with a great program of films from around the world, an art show curated by BFF founder Brendt Barbur and a special musical performance by Simone Pace and Amedeo Pace of Blonde Redhead during the open air event launch on Thursday, June 27th.
If you’re in New York City this week, ride by, grab a KIND bar and participate in a cinematic celebration of global bicycle culture! We’ll see you there!
