Are KIND® Kids School Friendly bars made in a nut-free facility?
KIND® Kids School Friendly bars are manufactured in a facility that also makes products that may contain peanuts, tree nuts, milk or wheat.
KIND® Kids School Friendly products are made on dedicated production lines that do not produce products containing peanuts or tree nuts. We follow a stringent allergen management program which includes allergen testing of our KIND® Kids School Friendly products to ensure there is no presence of peanuts or tree nuts in the finished product and that they meet “gluten-free” requirements as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”).
Which allergens are KIND® Kids School Friendly bars free from?
KIND® Kids School Friendly bars are free from peanuts and tree nuts. They are also gluten free, as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”).
What does “School Friendly” mean?
KIND® defines “school friendly” as a snack that is free from peanuts & tree nuts, as well as gluten free. KIND encourages you to check with your local school district to confirm that this product meets its requirements as a snack that your child is permitted to bring to school.
How does KIND avoid cross-contamination?
Our manufacturing facilities follow strict regulations and an allergen management program, which includes regular allergen testing of our products.
Are there KIND® products that do not contain nuts?
We have multiple product lines that do not have nuts added to the recipes. Bear in mind that all our products, except KIND® Kids School Friendly, are produced on lines where other products that contain tree nuts and peanuts are made.
Are KIND® snacks gluten free?
For all products that make a “Gluten Free” claim, we complete testing to ensure they meet FDA’s requirements for “Gluten Free.”
