When you eat fruits and veggies during their ripest seasons, it helps ensure that you’re getting them when they’re at their most nutritious states. If you’ve gone apple picking this season, you know that fall is the time to get your apples in, but did you know that different apples hit their peaks at different times? In honor of Granny Smiths being their ripest from mid to late October, we thought now was the perfect time to share another apple recipe featuring the iconic tart green apple we all know and love. KIND Healthy Grains® Apple Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients:
3 peeled Granny Smith apples
¼ cup water
1 tsp honey
½ tsp almond extract (substitute with vanilla for nut allergies)
3 tsp chia seeds
1 KIND Healthy Grains® Popped Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt bar, cut into thirds


Parfait Construction:
In a food processor, add apples and water Mix in almond extract and honey
Place in fridge to chill
When ready to serve, place in individual cups and serve with KIND Healthy Grains® Popped Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt bar
